Abstract
The approach based on the calculation of the Wiener – Loiville spectrum of two-dimensional signal is used. The temporal rows of perturbation functions of the ocean obtained by the International Earth Rotation Service from 01.01.1980 to 27.03.2003 (IERS, www.iers.org) are analyzed. It is shown, that one can interprets the oceanic perturbation as a stationary anisotropic random process characterized by the correlation time τcor<100 day. The share of Chandler Wobble, enforced by this perturbation is appreciated. The atmospheric and oceanic deposits in the Chandler Wobble initiation are compared.
Keywords: polar motion, Wiener – Loiville scalar product and spectrum, anisotropic Markov process, constant of anisotropy.
