Abstract
In the article the contribution of the Arkhangelsk' seismic network to registration of seismic events in the Arctic region is estimated. Evaluation is performed by conducting an analysis of the seismic network catalog, estimate of magnitude sensitivity and comparative analysis of the Archangelsk' network directory services NORSAR and Geophysical Survey of RAS. It is established that the Archangelsk' network with sufficiently high sensitivity can detect intraplate and interplate seismicity in the Arctic region. Recommendations on the further development of the network are given.
Keywords: The Arctic region, the seismic network, magnitude sensitivity, seismic events.
