Abstract

Correlation between seasonal fluctuations of seismic activity and the Earth’s annual circuit around the Sun which was described currently in several papers has no conclusive explanations. This paper provides an assessment of seasonal fluctuations of seismic activity; a physical explanation of the formation of inertial forces with account of the diurnal rotation of the Earth and evaluation of direction and relative value of such forces.

Keywords: seismic events [phenomena], the orbital motion, lithospheric plates, the inertial force, daily rotation of the planet.
